Jillian Michaels Body Revolution

I just saw an advertisement on tv for Jillian Michaels new program and it looks great. Has anyone on here had success with it? Do you get bored with the exercises or is it something you can easily stick to.

Also, does anyone known if its Available in Australia yet? I don't know why it's being advertised here if they're not selling it!

Group for program..I have completed it once and will be starting it again soon. The weeks go quickly so there is no real time to get bored with the levels. It is a great program. Not sure about the Australia question.

I've been doing it for 5 weeks now. Still enjoying it. I did shift things around a bit to accommodate my fitness level, and skipped ahead a bit, but I am having a good time. I'm doing month 2 for strength and month 3 for cardio now.

I got through 2 months before I quit (I will start again) but I lost 17 pounds in 2 months. I love it because its 30 minutes a day. You can push yourself to finish 30 minutes! It costs about $120.00 but its worth it for me.

Looking at the before and after pics it seems like P90X and Insanity are more effective than Jillian Michaels Body Revolution. What do you guys think? Is it better /worse /the same?

P90X seemed harder than BR to me. I tried it a year ago and decided I wasn't ready for it. I think 90X and Insanity focus more on building muscle, while Jillian seems to be looking to maintain or make smaller gains while losing fat.

I plan to restart P90X when I finish BR.

They're longer sessions though, aren't they? BR is 30 minutes a day, which is great for people who may not have as much time in the day to work out, but want to see results. So I wouldn't say one is better than the other -- it all depends on what people need out of their exercise sessions.

Ok so I'm confused I thought it was two 30 minute videos and one consisted of cardio and the other focused on strength. Am I wrong here?

For 2 weeks you do this
Monday and Thursday: Phase 1, Disc 1 - this concerns the "front: of your body. So squats, abs, push ups..ect.
Tuesday and Friday: Phase 1, Disc 2 - This is the back of your body (lunges, leg lifts, biceps and triceps..ect)
Wednesday and Saturday - Cardio 1

This goes on for these 2 weeks and then she witches up the two front and back workouts. After the first 4 weeks then you go to an all new set that includes a new cardio for that second month.

    Hope this helps :)

How closely do you all follow the meals? I'm planning on implenting some of her ideas and creating my own food plan. I was just wondering how difficult it is to follow her meal plans.
    Thanks!

I completed JMBR with great results, I lost a little over 20lbs on it and a number of inches. It was kind of a gateway program for me. I wasn't ready for insanity before it, but after I felt better prepared for the crazy. I now am doing Chalean Extreme and running. So, I don't think it is as hard as some of the BeachBody products, but it is good for getting ready. It also comes down to what you make of it. You can increase the weight you are lifting or the intensity of the cardio.
