I don't know about all of you, but my biggest issue is eating when I'm bored. With your help, I'd like to put together a "list" of things to do when you're bored at home instead of eating.

- take a nap (it's Monday, i've been dreaming of naps since my alarm went off this morning)0 -
i'm gulty of boredom eating. lately i've been making myself do homework that isn't due yet so i get ahead, or i take a shower, or i do laundry and clean, or i watch a movie with a bunch of water to hold me over.0

GET OUT OF THE HOUSE!!! take the dog for a walk, go to the cinema, go to the theatre, go to a new exhibit, the kind that u would never go to in other circumstances.0

my old WW leader always would ask someone if they were actually bored or just lonely. A lot of my issues stemmed from hubby working 2nd shift and I'd be all alone from the moment I got in from work until early in the morning. I ate because I was lonely and thought I was bored. Now he's on a better shift but if I feel myself being bored, I try to read a book or play with my cat or watch a movie.0

- Drawing or painting.... even if you're not "good" at it. Just do it for fun.
- Play video games. (For a version that will get you some exercise, try the Wii or get something like Dance Dance Revolution for the Playstation)
- Read
- Watch TV and do squats, planks, jumping jacks, etc during commercials instead of hitting the kitchen.
- Go for a walk
- Learn a musical instrument / another language/ how to build stuff / something else you're interested in
- Play with your pet (if you have one)0 -

Anything that doesn't involve commercials to make me think about food, or smells of nearby eating establishments..
reading or working out works well for me. Recipe browsing gets to me too, it's really fun but dang I get hungry doing it!0 -
I eat when I watch TV, seriously aweful!!! The worst mindless eating, no matter what i try, water, green tea, but when its movie night with roomies, I go all in and especially if its stressful/ high anxiety times!!0
