Hi there,

I'm almost 40 and from Berkshire in the UK and stumbled across this website this morning - absolutely brilliant! Anyway, I am following the Cambridge Plan.....I did it a few years ago and lost 2 stone (sorry, thats about 28lb to you guys!) I'm finding it so hard to convert lbs to our equivalnet of stones and lbs - still, I will soon get used to it!
I am panicking a bit now as we are off on out annual family holiday to Cyprus in the Mediterrean in 8 weks and I soooo need to lose at least 21 lbs....maybe I've left it too late, hope not.
It would be good to chat to anyone in the same boat!!

Welcome!! The trip you will be taking sounds wonderful. You could safely lose at least 16 lbs of that by then, but you could lose it all, but it may not be healthy. Make sure you don't diet so hard you make yourself sick and then can't enjoy the trip. Good luck though and glad to see you here.

We were stationed in North Yorkshire for several years, absolutely loved it...Welcome!

Like you, I need to drop 20lbs in the same amount of time....family reunion, weddings, & my 20th anniversay, but most importantly I have another doc recheck....gotta get those #s down some more....she says another 20:grumble:

It's goin' pretty great...you are definitely in the right place. & you can do stones, if you prefer. There are several sites that will convert if you choose to stay with our funky pound system...Americans....gotta make it complicated

    So great to have you:flowerforyou:
