I do a 50-75 min Leslie Sansone walking DVD. It has different moves and things included. There is also a bonus toning session (5-7 min) at the end. Each day you "walk" a different number of miles ranging from 1-5. What would you classify this under for exercise?

I have a fitbit ...so I put it under walking on the fitbit.com side........but before I had a fitbit I put it under walking at 3.0
  • I just found this on another message board post... Its about 100 calories burned per mile.
I created a exercise for me and put in 300 calories for the 3 miles walk! Hope it helps :)

Most of her DVD walks are 15 minute miles, a few are 12 min miles (5mph). Most are low-moderate intensity. So chart as the mph that matches the walk or alternatively use as low impact aerobics at x minutes (I don't include her warm up and cool down in those minutes for accuracy). I love her stuff, those are what got me started and hooked to working out!

I logged it as 20 minutes "low-moderate aerobics" and 20 minutes "5mph walking" when I did Leslie Sansone's "Punch Up Your Walk"
