    I'm a saver, too, but actually using the prize money for a real prize is what my spouse thinks I should do.
    Another thought I has was to rent a house on the beach for my birthday.

    Adding ink, kettle bells and spa to my possibilities.

    I'd do a little redecorating in my bedroom. Nothing too fancy, just some accessories and such.

    I'd spend the rest at Victoria's Secret and Sephora lol

    If you were awarded $1000 in a cash gift card, and expressly told you had to spend it on something wonderful, what would you do with it?

    This happened to me and my spouse says I can only spend it on myself. I won it as a bonus at work for performance.

    I am thinking I might buy treadmill. Unless there is something better that I haven't thought of.

    I used mine on a trainer! LOVED it! All for me. I negotiated and recieved quite a few sessions for that money. Lasted about a yr

    Treadmill sounds like an excellent idea. I'd go with an used treadmill and a HRM. Clothes would be fantastic but would need to wait until after I reach my goal.
