I ran across this article today giving 5 reasons why butter is a super food.

http://positivemed.com/2012/11/13/butter-is-a-superfood/

I always figured that I was eating better because margarine was lower in calories. I switched to I Can't believe It's Not Butter Lite made with olive oil, or sometimes Olivio, also made with olive oil. A little better, I guess. They're 45 and 50 cals per TBS respectively.

Now I've switched to Land O Lakes Whipped Butter - 50 cals per TBS.

I buy organic butter, expensive but it just can't be beat for flavor imo. Any low calorie butter or impersonator has air whipped into it or has more water........not an option for this guy.

Butter is processed, therefore cannot be a superfood, as processed foods are bad for you

Kerrygold butter from grassfed cows is the best and I've been using it for a while; you can find it at Trader Joes. Only ingredients are milk and cream. Margarine is full of trans fats and hydrogenated oils. Avoid them at all cost! :)

Thanks for the link! More reason to get back to "real" foods!
