Well, I've been procrastinating way too long when it comes to shedding weight. It wasn't until junior year in high school that I gained the most weight. Most of the clothes I had didn't fit me anymore and my confidence level dropped. I was never the skinniest but I wasn't fat either. Most of my friends are skinny and in shape.
Hopefully keeping up with what I eat and exercising will help me shed the weight I've had in mind to live a longer and healthier life. Now in college I want to be able to throw on a party dress, some heels and rock it with confidence.\
I have a long way to go. But Im determined to change.

Welcome! I'm a 22 year old senior in college. I know it can be hard - one of the biggest socializing things I do includes food and/or alcohol. Luckily, this site (and awesome community) will help you learn how to eat well, even when going out to eat or hanging out at a party!
This site will help you make a lasting lifestyle change if you commit to it. There's a ton of helpful people here and a great archive of posts on almost every topic imaginable.
Welcome again, and congratulations on your lifestyle change!

This is the time to do it! I wish I would have found MFP and really utilized the tools on this site when I was a sophomore in college. You can do this! And... your studies really will improve if you are focusing quality time on your nutrition and exercise. I learned that eating a solid, nutritious diet and exercising on a regular basis more than made up for my caffeine and sugar aids.

    Cheers!
