Trouble maintaining any loses

I've been trying to lose weight forrrevvvver... And it seems anytime I get down I can never keep it off. It will take me two weeks to lose 4 pounds but I'll put 5 pounds back on after one bad day.. And then it will take me another two weeks to get anything off again. So no matter how much I lose I can't keep any of it off. Like it's not real weight I've lost or something. Any ideas why this would happen or how to make my loses stick so I don't gain it all back in one day??!

Hi there. I can't see your diary, so I'm not sure if this will help - but have you considered changing your exercise routine?0

My exercise routine is very minimal - and I have a hard time finding motivation to work out more. But I'm sure that would speed up my metabolism and help quite a bit....0

Your ticker shows that you only have 20 lbs to lose. Set your goal to lose at 0.5 - 1 lb per week, eat your calories, and eat any exercise calories back. Water weight can change the scale drastically, so try to weight at the same time when you weigh, and try to limit your salt intake.0

As long as you eat at calories deficiency, you will lose weight. Are you eating at the right calories? Here is a good post to check out:

I understand that the very idea of exercise makes many people want to crawl under a blanket and hide - I've felt that way sometimes myself. The bad news is that it's an essential part of losing weight and keeping it off. The GOOD news is that you don't have to start training for a marathon to make huge strides forward.
START SMALL! After I had my second child and weighed in at almost 200lbs, I made myself a promise that I'd walk just to the end of the road and back every day for a week. Itk's only about a 5 minute walk, but most of the time, once I was out the door I kept going . . . 5 minutes turned into 15. Once I got moving, I felt better and it spiraled. Don't even think about the long term - I know, it's daunting - just promise yourself 5 minutes a day for a week. You would probably offer a loved one in need 5 minutes of your time a day for his/her health. Don't you deserve the same?
Once you've achieved 5 minutes/day for a week and are happy with it - then decide what your next move is going to be.
I hope that helps, and I wish you every success!0 -
I've lost weight in the past. In 2008 I weight 210lbs. In a year I lost about 70 pounds. Now the last 20 is where I'm stuck.. It's been 2 years of me trying to lose weight with no luck. And now I find it hard to stay motivated when nothing is helping...0
