Is it werid that I eat almost the samething for Breakfast, Snack, Lunch and sometimes even dinner.
I dont ever really get bored of eating the samething.
I do know I was not losing weight due to nights and weekends which I am trying to fix and make them more like a workday.
Just wondering

I would get bored after a while. If it doesn't bother you and it works, then by all means keep doing it.0

As long as you are getting a balanced diet, I don't think it matters at all.
Do you mean the same thing every day or the same thing for every meal?0 -
I have the same breakfast everyday and LOVE it. I'm not a fan of breakfast, and at 34, have spend most of my life SKIPPING breakfast. It's inconvenient. I don't like eggs or oatmeal. I get tired of cereal after a few days. So, it was easier to skip. Really screwed up my metabolism. Breakfast has been the hardest part of my new healthy lifestyle, but has made the biggest difference in my energy level now that I've got it figured out. I have a chocolate protein powder, peanut butter, egg white, almond milk, and banana smoothie each morning. It's been 4 weeks and I have not gotten tired of it, and it's making a difference. I'm considering branching out to other smoothies, but the smoothie thing works for me. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Right? Yes, you need a variety of foods in your diet, but who says one or two meals must provide ALL the variety of the day?0

2 pkgs Oatmeal (change up the kind)
A bit of milk on it
Coffee
Snack @ 10:00
Yogurt
Cucumbers (1 cup)
Lunch
Weight Watchers Bread Multigrain
Two Slices of Lunch Meat
Mustard
Carrots (1 Cup)
Snack @3:00
Yogurt
Usually and orange switched it up for a mini muffin this week lol
Dinner
Usually Some Kind of Meat
2Cups Frozen Vegetables
Snack@ night
HOPEFULLY SOMETHING HEALTHY LOL
So its all healthy just not sure if maybe I switch it up will it boost my metabolism or something.0 -
Nah, I go weeks at a time eating basically the same thing. Takes some of the guesswork of meeting my macros out and I can make up big batches of things to eat through the week so i don't have to worry about heavy duty cooking right after work.0

I also eat almost the same thing everyday. Almost. A few variations. My eating is super boring. But it seems to work so I am not changing.0

I think thats why I do it, it is easier and each day there is not guess work.0 -
I have been eating the same thing for breakfast for weeks and I'm not bored yet. I have about 4 breakfasts and 4 lunches that i rotate and I'm perfectly fine with that. I know what's in them, I know the calorie count, and I know they're healthy. I don't have to think about it and count it all up. I have more dinners that I rotate, which is helpful, because I have a family to feed. I've always been happy to eat leftovers until they're gone, though. My husband, on the other hand, will eat leftovers once, maybe twice, and won't eat it again. So eating this way works for me and I don't get bored with it.0

I eat the same few breakfasts. I rotate between a few every week. Lunch and dinner I mix up more though. I try to make a new recipe at least once a week when I am not traveling. It keeps it fresh for me and it works well with my family too!
If its working for you go for it as long as you are getting balanced meals with plenty of fruits and veggies!0 -
Nope not at all! I actually think the ability to display that kind of discipline in the kitchen, helps tremendously in keeping consistent in every other aspect of your life (or mine anyway). Obviously it takes a certain level of self-discipline to obtain results you want and in my case I have a very "all the way or nothing at all" mentality and if I slack with my diet I fall behind in just about every other aspect of my life, especially health related.
If I have that slice of pizza then I figure why not have that beer to go with it and once I've had that why not enjoy a desert too, then it's aww fuk it why not just go out to the pub tonight and make up for it tomorrow? That's just me though everyone is different, but it does seem to be a common trend for people on here. I'd rather just avoid the crap as much as I possibly can.0 -

perhaps.. perhaps not.. but.. it ceratinly makes some people feel more energetic, which means they will get off thier butts and do stuff, which leads to weight loss and a better metabolism. Breakfast itself? Maybe maybe not.. but adding it in can certainly make a difference! I know it did for me!0
