Restaurant Menu's

Is there a way to look at a menu before you get there and decide what is the best choice? I am new to this.

You could search MFP database or do a web search for the restaurant's website where more and more are listing their nutritional information and then enter that information yourself.

    Google. Or the MFP database.

MANY restaurants (well, at least the big chains) have their menus online as well as nutrition facts. I also find many restaurants now have a "healthy" section in their menu. Then again, I rarely go to restaurants and usually only go to chains. (And in Canada, not sure if that makes a difference).

Yes google the restaurant by name. I always try to view the menu and also nutritional info if that's available before I go to the restaurant. I generally know what I am ordering before I go. If you don't find anything online ask when you get there.

I got this link from here a few weeks ago - there are quite a few restaurants in here.
