Who's up for the challenge??? I know I am in need of some motivation!! We will start tomorrow..Go ahead and post you goals so I can have it up tomorrow...We will do daily challenges and I will pick a different person to post for a week so we can mix it up a bit..Any suggestions are welcome!! I wish you all much success!! weigh ins on tuesdays!

    I'm in! I want to reach 185 pounds (or less would be awesome) by July 4 anyway, so it will be great to have a support system! My monthly weigh ins are the first of the month, so I'll have my official stats tomorrow. :happy:

    So.. I'm weighing in at 196.6. That means to reach my July 4 goal, I need to lose 11.6 pounds. It sounds a little steep, but I did get down to 190.2 once last month.. embarrassing since I'm now 5.4 pounds more than that. But it is what it is! And I am SO determined to reach that goal!

    Morning all!!

    I am gonna give it a little more time before we call it a team..Im sure it was late las night and alot of people may not have seen the post..Today lets rev up our water intake..At least 8 glasses of water,,And lets get some cardio in..20 mins or more!! Also lets eat at least one veggie today!! We can do this! The water one will be tough for me cause I HATE water!! And I havent exercised in ages so yall pray for me!! lol..


    By the way my name is Jessica..Mom of 3 little girls..Jaylenn 6 Harley 4 Kaylee 2.. I am also the wife to the most amazing man!! He takes care of me while I stay at home taking care of our house and kids!! I have a weenie dog named Zyla and she is tiny!! Well that all was a little off subject, but I thought I would share a little about myself..Yalls turn!!! lol

    I would LOVE to join this challenge!! My 1 year anniversary with my boyfriend is July 2, and it's my first 1 year anniversary EVER (I know, I've had problems) and I'd like to be back down to 154, because that's the weight I acheived last summer and managed to maintain until graduating college in December. And I want to look SUPER SEXY in some new lingerie for the occasion! :glasses:
    6/1 Weight - 158.8
    7/4 Goal - 154
    Final Goal - 145
    I've already drank half of my water for today, as well as a cup of green tea (NO honey! Go me!) and I'm hoping to do 30 Day Shred when I get home this evening, so I'll keep y'all posted!! DRINK DRINK DRINK!!! :drinker:

    I got in my cardio for the day.. 30 minutes of walking and the fit test of Insanity.. it was pretty intense!

    I'll give a little info about myself..

    My name is Lisa, I'm 21 and a full time student at Young Harris College. This time next year I'll have my bachelors in Business and Public Policy.. I have a boyfriend who I've been with for almost 5 years, and I have a little cocker spaniel named Teddy! (He's in my profile pic)... my life in a nutshell. lol

    Water's done, about 9 glasses, and had salad for lunch, so I got my veggies in already too. I also did my 20min walk to work this morning, but I try not to count that as my "exercise" for the day, b/c I do it pretty much every day, and I really need to do more...I'm SO proud of myself! I didn't buy a brownie with lunch OR any sweets at the bakery my co-workers wanted to swing by on the way back to the office, NOR have I eaten any of the pizza leftover from a meeting that's sitting out in the break area. The pizza is actually the biggest temptation; much as I'd prefer a brownie, the pizza is free and more readily accessible. I'm a little disappointed at how many calories my lunch was: a whopping 650 calories at Mad Greens!!! :noway: BUT IT'S A SALAD!! IT'S HEALTHY!!! :sad:

    About me: I'm Hope, 24, a recent grad from CU-Boulder, working at a software company, so no help there with exercise or eating junk and mainlining caffeine. As mentioned already, I've been dating a wonderful man for about 11 months, and I have a cat named Kilala (pron. "kee-la-la") that everyone agrees is pure evil. I also have a hedgehog named AmyRose, but sadly, I'm putting her up for adoption, as I haven't had time to play with her since getting my new job. I haven't really had time to play with Kilala either, but the cat will just jump up in my face and/or lap to demand attention. Lack of time is also why I don't have a dog, even though I would LOVE one! :ohwell:
  • I'd love to join this challenge, too! I've gotten in 30 min of cardio, 8 glasses of water, and several vegetables today.

    I'm Meg, 27, and I'm a teacher - so this is a busy time of year. With all the paperwork and meetings, it's hard to stick to eating well and exercising and still sleep!

    Sounds like fun! I am currently 241 and WILL be 230 by July 4th!

    I have def hit my water. I love veggies and have had a couple of serving of them today. I had physical therapy this morning witch is a pretty intense workout for over an hour. I am 33 and a mom to a 3 1/2 yr old little boy. I am currently a SAHM and had back surgury in March. I am on my way to getting back in to shape.

    I am new to this site but sound like a good way to kick off my weight loss goals. My goals are simple, Lose weight so that I can be more active. Just started training for a 1/2 Marathon, so my workouts will be easy to get in, if I can only stop the eating and beer.

    Current weight: 280
    July 4 Goal: 261
    Total Lose: 19 lbs

    I got another great workout in today.. 40 mintues Insanity and about 15 minutes of strength training after. I plan on having a great first weigh in next tuesday!

    I was super proud yesterday! I drank about 130 oz. of water! Probably more along the lines of 150! But I worked out for 45 min and did a lot of yard work too. It was so hot here yesterday!

    Today I've got my workout in and about half my water. I'm taking it easy since I've really been pushing it exercise wise these past few weeks.

    Hope everybody is doing well!

    It's hot here too! I manage to actually work out this morning before it was too bad, and then went to swim in the pool. But now I'm a little sunburned :frown: I'm not doing to well on my water either...I never do good on weekends. The only reason I do good on weekdays is b/c I have a huge bottle with a straw that I sit in front of me on the desk and unconsciously drink and drink and drink.

    I'm making salmon for dinner, with some leftover garlic mashed potatoes, and decided that I might want some chardonnay to go with it. I figure if I walk to the liquor store (SEVERAL blocks, up and down hills both ways) that I'll be able to have a glass or two. My only concern is that I was also hoping to pick up pork chops for tomorrow's dinner, and I don't know how well they'd survive the walk home in the heat.....

    Pixie - I'm not as good with drinking water on the weekends either. I usually get most of it in but not all. I'm going to have to work on it. I know today was a good workout, so I drank half my water for the day (32 oz) in 45 minutes. lol

    Ugh.. yesterday eating was a definate failure! But I'm still going strong on my workouts!! I wish I didn't love food so much. Life would be much easier. lol My family makes it so hard because all they want to eat is junk food it seems like.

    It's a challenge for sure. But I know I can make my goals.. just have to fight through it.

    I'm 281 lbs and would like to be 270 by July 4th.
    I think I can do this.
    I know I need to drink 64 oz of water today, I had pasta salad for lunch (Veggies, whole grain pasta, fat free italian dressing and feta cheese)
    So I totally got my veggies in for today! I want to get back on the 30 day shred too.
    I hope it's ok to join this late.

    It's not too late to join!

    Ah today is a break from exercise! It's needed as I haven't had a break from it in a while. I'm sure I'll find something to get into anyway though.. but definately won't be getting into an intense workout today.

    How is everyone doing?

    Ugh, I didn't work out the past 2 days (first 2 days of TOM) and went over my calories by almost 500 on Sunday! :noway: but yesterday went over less than 100, so it was better. Got up today and made myself Shred it before work, then got a little extra exercise dashing for the bus! I had a skimpy breakfast - started to eat cereal but the milk's starting to turn :sick: - so I'm worried about snacking too much at work or stuffing myself at lunch (going out with the office as a good-bye to a co-worker) or dinner tonight...

    Up-side: I drank FIFTEEN glasses worth of water yesterday! :drinker:
