Need some advice! (:
I know you can't spot reduce and the key things to lose fat are diet and exercise. I'm 5'10 and 144lbs. With clothes on I look fine but I do have a serious belly which just wont budge. I dont want to lose much more weight because people have said I'll end up looking noticeably too thin which I dont want. I know people say just tone up but I want to get rid of the fat that is there.. ahh help!
Sorry for the rant! Just feel stuck atm

I find it's mostly diet for that area- I am no doctor or anything but the more pizza and junk I eat the same size it will stay.
I think you have to decrease overall body fat to get rid of it, start lifting weights0 -
I second weight lifting! That will help decrease your body fat percentage and make everything look more tone, including the belly.0

You know how you look, and you have to live with your body... the hell with what other people say.
Additionally, most lazy people will tell you to quit before you really should because they are lazy and/or don't know what being healthy is really about. So will most friends and family, but because they are trying to be accepting/supportive of you as you are.
If you want to lose the weight, lose the weight. It really comes down to that.0 -
I think that weight lifting using those problem areas will help with the belly fat. Me, I have quite a bit to lose because I've had 3 kids and my last one was almost 10 lbs so he stretched me to my limits. I know that I will always have the "mommy pouch" but I am trying to do exercises and such to help those areas.0

I agree with moving your workouts to a weight lifting routine to burn away the fatty areas.
Be patient with yourself, it will happen with determination and commitment.
You can do it!0 -
I have been seeing results with Jillian MIchaels 6 week 6 pack. I just started week 4 and I have lost 1/2 an inch. Its a 30 min video that combines cardio and core training. I am alo 30 lbs heavier than you too. At 5'10" I don't think you need to lose anymore weight. The weight lifting suggestions sound good to me.0

Maintain your calorie intake with clean foods (higher protein, lower carbs).
Strength train
Core exercises
It'll take time, but you're already at a healthy weight you need to tone with weights!0 -
If you are close to your goal weight/happy with your overall weight than switch what you are doing.
Focus on building muscle which will not only change the look of your body but help lower your body fat % which is key to getting rid of the belly.
Eat at a slight surplus and lift heavy weights while consuming more than enough protein. The more muscle you have the more calories your body will burn. Doing bulk and cut cycles will get rid of your excess body fat/0 -
I need to get rid of my belly fat, too. I plan on trying ChaLEAN extreme after I finish turbofire for lifting and getting toned.0
