Pasta Measures

Hi I hope someone can help.
On a pasta packet it says 50g dry pasta = 177kcal.
So I measure 50g dry pasta once it is cooked though it weighs 100g does it still have 177kcal or will it be double!! Surely the extra weight is only water so the kcal shouldn't be greater!!
It had always been something I am unsure about!!
Thanks in advance for any advice xx

Does the package indicate number of servings per package? That's a good clue for figuring out how much the package makes! I'll check back for the final answer in case this is a test! LOL ... btw, you are doing great!!!!0

Yes, you are right. The extra weight will just be water so it will still be 177 cals0
