Does anyone have a pair of these? http://www.skinnyjeans.com/
Are they worth the investment? I'm thinking about after I lose all this weight. I just don't see 13 years of cellulite just going away...And my skin is so stretched out from pregnancy that this pooch may not go away either. So I was just wondering if these were worth the money. I have to admit, they do look pretty good in the pictures. And I don't mind spending more on jeans if they make me look (and feel) amazing.
Edit: Not trying to give them business or anything, and I don't sell them, I just wanted any honest opinions, if anyone had any. Just wanted to add that little disclosure in there so I didn't get kicked off the boards.

That lady in the picture is a twig--her thighs don't even touch! I don't know where they get off saying she has "fat thighs" when she weighs about 14 pounds all together.
If they make you feel good, then get them, but I think I would personally be worried about wearing jeans that cost more than my wedding dress. I think you might also look into a "custom fit jean"--a lot more options, and they have specialists that work for you. I think I might go to mejeans.com and buy a pair when I hit my goal weight. Again, not cheap, but significantly cheaper than the other ones, and there are less expensive versions of the same concept all over--I think Levi does this too.
Anyway, good luck!0 -
I don't know anything about them but after I looked at the website I think I want some!
I think if you make it to your goal weight you have every reason to find a pair of jeans that you feel absolutely amazing in!
Keep up the good work!
If you do decide to get them, let me know how it works out!

they look good in the before/after photos but it kind-of looks like they just fit really well. I would be nervous about ordering jeans online.. but who knows!0

OMG!!! The price on them. I think I would shop around before I buy from skinnyjeans. I guess if I had that kind of money and they did what they say they do then I guess I would buy them. I am a sale shopper its been years since I payed full price on anything. Well thats how I am I was born that way but I would look at other website to.0

Oh, I haven't paid full price on anything...well...ever...But after I do all this hard work, I may just treat myself to them. I definitely don't have that kind of money to just spend willy-nilly. But we all deserve a treat after we work so darn hard.
Edit: Also, there's a store near here that sells them. Before I bought them, I would definitely try them on.0 -
1) if they are advertising a jean that is supposed to make not perfect people look great, why are they using a photshoped size 0 model? Come on- what do they look like on real people?
2) The OTHER brands don't always look bad - they are striking unflattering stances in the OTHER photos (often in the wrong size pants) and flattering poses in the SKINNY photos.
3) Take your $200 ($180 + shipping / tax) and buy yourself anywhere from 4-15 pairs of nice, normal, comfortable jeans that you can TRY ON FIRST!
4) The hints that they mention that make the skinny jeans work are true - get pockets in the right place for your body type, buy the correct length, get a flattering cut and color, etc... but you CAN do that at Gap, or Target, or anywhere else as well! Just need a little research about jeans and your body type and patience at the store trying on many jeans.
5) Jeans are not what is going to make you look hot! Once you reach your goal weight you will be hot anyway! Get a flattering $30 pair of jeans that you will still look smokin' in because of all your hard work!0
