Hi All!!!

So I really started MFP with my wedding date in mind...to get healthy and to look great for the big day! Now the big day is in less than 2 weeks and needless to say I am stressing out a bit!! All of the last minute things and just trying to be REALLY good with eating and being happy with the scale!!! I have my last dress fitting tomorrow and just pray that it fits and feels good!

Any good tips on dealing with the last minute stress...the anxiousness...eating well...just being calm!!! Thank you in advance! I am so looking forward to the 12th...just getting there in one piece is key!!!!

XOXO

    1. stay away from anything will lots of salt or foods that you know make you bloated the few days before the big day

    2. eat ANYTHING on the morning of the wedding, i was so nervous all i had was Tea and a half slice of Toast, but that was enough to see me through until dinner what with all the excitement, but eat something, no matter how small

    3. you will be the only one, and maybe hubby stressing out, everyone else will be excited to be there and wish you well, try to relax

    4. also, its you and your hubby's day, so make decisions based on what you both want, not what everyone else thinks you should do

best wishes and good luck! have a great day and life together

Watch your sodium intake, to much of it will make you retain water and might make you feel a little uncomfortable in you wedding gown. Don't get too caught up in the numbers on the scale, it's all about how you feel.

The only other advice I can give you it to just relax and enjoy your day. Not everything will go according to plan and some things you just can't control - (someone screwed up my seating arrangements the morning of, the florist sprayed my flowers the wrong color and it rained like crazy on my wedding day) . But when I look back on it now, all I can think of is how happy I was that day. Remember that you are marrying the man you love and at the end of the day as long as you two are married and together all the little details don't matter. I hope you have a wonderful wedding day and a long and happy life with your husband!!

Congrates...Marriage is big thing and wonderful. I've been married for almost 16yrs now and I love him more now than I did on our wedding day.....

The biggest tip I would give you to stay prepared.... Try alway to have a few extra healthy snacks in your purse and car... I know you'll be crazy busy the next few weeks and this will help you stay away from the fast food places. Also try your best to take a few mins in the mornings to think about where your day will be taking you. If you know you will be out of your normal zones when it comes to meal times, decided before you ever leave home that morning where you will eat. That way you can make a wise choice.

Another tip would be to try your best to get enough rest. Lack of sleep will up your stress levels fast... Try drinking some type of calming green tea before you go to bed at night. There are lots of different kinds out there that will help you sleep and of course the healthy antioxidants in the tea is a great plus too.

    Best of luck

    1) water water water water (no soda...)
    2) get a little exercise the days before even if it is just a walk, it will make you feel better and less stressed!
    3) MOST IMPORTANT: Your wedding is a time that you can share your love with family and friends... the people that CARE ABOUT YOU... they don't care if something little goes wrong so DON"T WORRY ABOUT IT. THey are just there to celebrate with you! Enjoy your day, it goes fast.
