    yeah, I work in retail and a lot of what we're getting in is colored skinny jeans, mostly pastel colored and bright neon colors.

    I personally do not like skinny jeans but too each their own. I never wear what is in just what looks good on me. What got be bugging lately is all the dudes with box top fades. I didn't like them in the 90s and I still don't like them now. UGH.... but again too each their own.

    Why not "dudes"? I think that guys look great in skinny's. But my question was for the FASHION people. DUDE, with that trucker hat, you ain't no fashionisto!

    Well my personal problem with skinny jeans on guys is they are usually worn tight enough that you'd think you'd be able to see their wang gasping for air down in there. but you never ever do.. Suspicious

    I own more boots cuts but I do love my one pair of low rise, black super-skinny jeans. They're so comfy and go with just about anything.

    Having said that, pastels skinnies seem to be in this season and I don't do pastels. I don't care how fashionable it is!

    Agree with the pastel and patterned skinnies being in for the season. I bought some polka dot ones from Torrid that I absolutely love!

    I love skinny jeans, the only kind I'll wear. I've seen a lot of floral patterned skinny jeans lately...they look horrid :|.

    from the shows I've seen for ss/13 skinny jeans or pants weren't seen often on the runway. Fashion seems to be favoring a slouchier, more relaxed fit in the leg or even a billowy, wide leg but it varies from show to show of course. The editors are the ones who pick out the "trends" which are based on looks that seem to be recurring on the runway or their own personal tastes, or a little bit of both. That's all. When celebrities start rocking looks, trends happen too. But everyone has different taste.
    I say don't follow the trends, wear whatever makes you feel confident! It's always what's going to look best on you, no? Plus, even though I'm so tired of skinny jeans, they are always going to be what looks best paired with a knee-high boot.

    There was a surprising amount of black seen on the runway for the season though, which is nice and forgiving if needed. ;)
