68 lbs by Christmas to much?

Hi all,
I am trying to set reachable goals for me this year. My next big goal would be a 25 lb weight loss on my bday ( in may) and I am right on track. Averaging 1.5 lbs a week. My question is would it be a realistic goal to lose 68 lbs by Christmas? That would roughly be about 1.7 lbs a week.
I am also afraid that this will cause "skin sagging" as I don't want to lose to fast. Also, because I hear if you lose to fast it is easy to come back on.
Can I please get some insite on this? Thank you
PS. I am open for new friends, and for support and suggestions along the way!

Is 68 all you have to lose? Because (I hear) the last 10-20 pounds can be harder to get off and the thinner you get, the less per week you'll lose.
All in all though, it doesn't matter. You aim for 68 and get 50 and I bet you'll still be pretty darn happy0 -
^^ I agree!! Aim for it, and if things slow down, you can readjust! I also agree that you will feel great even if things hault a bit shy of that. Congrats on being on your way, and I am so happy to hear about your progress, come May ;D0

I think that's a great goal. Looking at your ticker, that would be close to your halfway mark. I have lost 59 pounds in seven months with an initial calorie goal of 2# per week. I have since changed to 1#/wk, partly for the "loose skin" issue, and partly because it is much more sustainable. I am at my halfway point now.0

No, I have a total of 120lbs more before final goal weight. But I am just setting up mini goals along the way0

Great idea setting up milestones like this, imho. Good luck-- if you have your diet dialed in, I expect you'll hit your goal with no trouble.0

I am going to go for it. That would mean I would be at 200 ( thats why the weird #)... wow. Maybe I could be in the Oneland by then. my Christmas present to my self. I think I will try to strength train to help with the extra skin.. no idea how. Suggestions?0
