So it's almost 2pm and I had a bowl of kashi cereal this morning with some skim milk and strawberries. I'm just NOT hungry and I can't even force myself to eat because it's so stinkin hot outside! Is this "wrong"? I don't want to get sick from eating. I just have no appetite at all.

I deal with this in the summer too. I try to eat lots of COLD food -- salad, fruit (especially anything with a high water content), pasta salad. Maybe throw some yogurt and fruit into the blender for a smoothie?

Watermelon? Cantaloupe? Honeydew? Water with a splash of fruit juice? Or straight fruit juice?

I agree that a smoothie sounds like a good idea. You might also consider freezing certain fruits like grapes. Kill two birds with one stone.

Yummy green salads, toss in some cold protein! Hardboiled eggs, or chicken or turkey strips, or crumbled cold bacon, cheese chunks, cold rice, cold peas, beans of any type but especially yummy garbonzo beans.

Walk past a giant grocery store salad bar and take a look and then build your own salad similar only at home from items you get from the produce dept.

Broccoli slaw tossed with, yes, wait.....here it comes again  Garbonzo beans:laugh:

Green smoothies since you'll get fruit and veggies in that. Keep some nice cold hard boiled eggs all ready in the fridge, veggies cut up, hummus, or ranch dip made up for a snack, mm ice cold milk.

Wow, sounds like I need to hit the store and boil some eggs, it's warming up here too!
    Good Luck:tongue:
