"A US couple who don't drink coffee because it is bad for their health are instead receiving the caffeinated drink as an enema three times a day.
Florida's Mark and Trina spend up to five hours preparing the enemas each day and can only leave their home at certain times because of their addiction, according to a report on The Lifestyle Channel.
The pair also have their own individual grind and temperature preferences.
Trina said there was a point where she was so addicted to the coffee enemas that she was doing nine or 10 every 24 hours.
She said the addiction began two years ago because she was suffering from stomach and digestive problems.
"Immediately I really started to feel the benefits of it, I really felt like I was living life for the first time in years," she said.
The couple has not seen a doctor since they began using the coffee enemas."

Isn't that what everyone does with things they think are bad for their health? Shoot it up their butt instead of eating/drinking it? I know I do. Thankfully, I need coffee in order to qualify as human, so I better drink it. I can't risk the enema interfering with when my intestines shut down (when is that? 8pm I think?).0

Apparently, in my share house, the old house mate did this every day. They would find poopy coffee drips on the way to the toilet. Needless to say, he was kicked out.0

This couple was actually on The Doctors. They have since stopped doing their coffee enemas and are seeking treatment for their addiction.0

This couple was also on Taboo the TV show. They saw a Dr on the show and he informed them that because the coffee wasn't going through their organs and being broken down and processed properly through the liver and kidney, they were likely doing a lot of damage to their bodies.
Amazing how easily (and insanely) some people can get addicted to things. Makes me very sad for our society.
