I noticed my post was deleted its not right to delete a post about requesting christian female friends. females any age are welcome and any christian males of my age range. just be sure to leave a message as to why you want to be friends with me. you can't be to careful these days.

    Of COURSE it got deleted. Not too many people like Christians around here, someone probably got offended and reported it. no worries though. This one will probably get deleted too, However, if you look in the "groups" there is a "Christians Unite" group on the forums. I don't know if you are part of it. Unfortunately it is not as active as it probably should be, but at least it's there!

    I find it strange that people are so worried about offending people.... I would have no problem with an all atheist group, because it really has nothing to do with me. I likewise don't take offense to posts about people looking for latino friends, or runner friends. If I'm not latino or a runner... I just go on about my business.

    exactly I wrote a blog about this as this is not right to do. I don't mind people asking for any friends they wish. I don't get offended. its okay for people of other relgions to post friend request on a forum and no problem but if a christian posts requesting friends of their faith mfp deletes it. that is what I am standing againist its not right at all.

    The only reason it will get locked is because it is exclusive, or 'divisive' as they like to call it, based upon faith. Do I agree with the practice? Not really. Then again, I don't agree with them banning myself and other knowledgeable users from topics just because we get nasty on an occasional idiot. However, it's their forum to run as they please.

    Well I'm not a Christian so I know this doesn't apply to me, but I wanted to say something because this is going to get nuked again. It will be considered divisive, according to their guidelines. I don't necessarily agree with this but them's the breaks. Just fyi.

    I'm sure people could suggest groups on MFP that would yield the friends list you're looking for. I haven't read all the replies but I'd bet someone already has. Good luck.

    ETA: IBTL but wanted to at least try to be useful.

    It's in the forum rules. They will delete it because it is a devisive topic. And it is only fair that if they do it unto others, they will do it unto this one.
