    I'm pretty clean shaven..... once in a while grow a little scruff.

    My "beard" looks horrible, but it's much better than the alternative. You can hide a multitude of sins under a beard including numerous chins, itchy and flaky skin, leftovers, weapons of mass destruction (why else couldn't Bush find them in Iraq).

    Currently I'm growing my beard to look like a dirty trucker for a roll in a movie. My wife hates it but then again she doesn't touch me anyway so it really doesn't matter! <-- that was a joke, she's can't keep her hands off this!!!!

    For me its two reasons why I have facial hair:

    1. I'm lazy and don't want to shave everyday
    2. I shaved it all off last month and I hated how I looked. So I went back to growing it.

    Wait, we are talking about pubic hair, right?

    I have noticed this too, and as a single woman it bugs me! I will go with clean shaven all the way! I thought most women would agree, but I guess I was wrong.

    I'm almost 23, & can't grow a full beard if my life depended on it lol
    It takes about a week for a semi noticeable goatee to show up... O.o

    I started growing a beard once. It lasted until i was eating soup one day, and pulled the spoon away, and found that a dripping piece of chicken was hanging from my mustache. Went home and shaved it off immediately.
    I found a beard kinda holds the smells too. Right there under your nose.

    I prefer the scruffy look. my man of six years now has always sported the scruffy look (i love it) and he loves how now a days the going fad for men is the beard...... bc he can shave even less now! LOL lazy guy!

    I personally have only seen him clean shaven once and it literally wigged me and my daughter out and we told him never do that again! hehe

    I'll take stubble and facial hair over clean shaven any day. I loooove me a nice sexy 5:00 shadow, makes a hot guy eve. Sexier

    my husband goes from scruff to full beard..and back. I have seen him "clean shaven" once. I prefer the scruff.

    I'd love to quit my job, wear lumberjack print thick shirts, live in a cabin in the woods and have a big beard but I have to stay clean shaven because my facial hair is awful. The moustache area comes out blonde, the neck & chin comes out dark brown and my jawline is ginger. It's ever so very ridiculous, and without the beard, the rest is just a pipedream...

    I shave now and then to check my progress (if i have a neck AND a chin, we're good) but my wife likes me to keep some kind of facial hair as she says "GAH!! You look like you're 12!! I feel creepy!"

    she really has a fit when i shave my head... :)

    love facial hair...my Man can only sport it when on vacation or over the weekends...works for the National Guard and it is mandatory to be clean shaven...Love a scruffy look;)
