Hello,
Ive been getting the feeling around 2-4pm that im crashing and get really tired and I dont know what its from. I eat healthy and minimal processed foods most of the time, I sleep fine at night and always 8 hours. I get up, eat breakfast and go work out for an hour or 2, eat lunch around 12-1 have a snack around 3-4 and feel super tired and dinner around 6 if I can. I could understand if i was eating sugary stuff and crashing from it but what gives???

One thing I've noticed and have read is that the more meals implemented the more energy. I believe around 5-6 meals daily is the recommended. So start implementing more snacks (maybe fruit and yogurt) and/or breaking up your main meals like lunch and dinner. I rarely feel like crashing but I also eat about 6 times a day. It's something I've also learned about while being on Jenny Craig for this past month and a half.0

I notice that you seem to be eating pretty vegan (or are vegan) I know not having enough vitamin b12 in your diet can make you really tired all the time, I had to actually get a shot every week for about a month of b12 after going nearly vegan but not taking any supplements (or necessarily watching what i was eating). If I where you I would try and take a multivitamin with b12 in it, and then you'll get the added bonus of all the other vitamins. If you are already taking vitamins then all I can think of is you either need to up your calorie intake or lower your caffeine intake (i know that sounds weird to not drink as much caffeine if you are getting tired but it makes you crash)0

I would also suggest eating more often to keep your blood sugar levels consistent, and be sure you're getting in enough good fat and complex carbs, especially if you're working out in the morning. Dehydration is also reflected by feeling sleepy and run down, so be sure you're getting enough water!0

i eat vegan most days, ive found it helps me lose weight faster. Ill have to try the b12 and see what that does for me before i try uping my calorie intake, as for caffine all i have is 2 cups of green tea in the morning and one of them is decaf. I know Im also drinking enough water even though i dont mark it on mfp,
thanks for your help!0
