    Welcome to MFP, the number one piece of advice I can give you, is to LOG YOUR FOOD! Everyday, log in, even if you just do a calorie quick add. It will become a habit, and it will get easier everyday.

    As others have said, make sure you log *everything* you eat and set the right daily calorie allowance.
