Day 1 vs. day 15 30DS

SW: 206

I just wanted to show others that it is possible! I have lost just over 9 inches off my body (I measure my bust, waist, hips, thighs and calves) and another 5 lbs since starting the 30DS. I am so shocked that it actually works and am whole heartedly going to continue. I have taken 18 days to get to day 15, but those 3 "off" days were only to rest my arthritic knee...yep I'm 32 with arthritis.:explode: To anyone just starting don't give up...there were tears the 1st day:sad:   , and am definately pushing myself harder than ever before but it is worth it! My day1/15 pics are on my profile.

Awesome!!! I started Day 1 yesterday. I actually started Level 1 a couple months back because I lost inches but barely any pounds and became discouraged. Of course I discovered AFTER that losing inches really shows your progress compared to the scale. I will also do 6W6P in conjuction to 30DS starting next week. Best of luck to you!

Everyone has been looking so awesome with the 30DS.. i think I may look into that. do you do it every day? Is that the idea? I wont want to give up my body pump days.... :/

great job by the way! I have knee issues too, so I feel your pain!

A lot of people do it every day, partially because the name implies it would be. But JM herself said that it's not necessarily supposed to be every day. If your body needs a break, or if you prefer every other day, etc. go for it- it's a great workout no matter what!

    At 192 lbs
    Upper Arm - 13.75
    Chest - 38
    Waist - 39
    Hips - 43
    Thigh - 24.5

Thanks to the 30 day shred my measurements are down 2-3 inches so far in my waist, hips, and thighs. None in my chest yet and just .25 in my arms and I still have 12 days left! I also started at 198 so I'm 6lbs. down too!
It is also taking me awhile because I did start on 1/28 but it is a great workout!
  • Thank you for posting. I finished day 7 of 30DS today. My scale isn't budging so it is nice to know that others have had success. I'm going to measure after every 10 days. Hopefully I will be able to see results.

    First: Good for you!

Second: I laughed at the it took 18 days to get to day 15 but only because the math nerd in me was amused.

Some people see scale results with 30DS but I've heard a lot of people say that they see the most results through measurements, whether they've lost weight or not. Keep it up- it's totally worth it!
  • Congrats! I've heard so many good things about this dvd so I ordered it from Amazon a few days ago :-) good luck, keep up the good work :-)

I just started yesterday, and as I was going along I thought I was going to die but then I realized it wasn't THAT bad. I think yelling at Jillian the whole time helped thought. :) I am pumped to do it again tonight after I get off work. I probably won't weight myself at all because people have said weight doesn't fluctuate much and it will only discourage me but I also hear that men lose weight easier than women so I guess I will find out. My pants already feel looser today but that may just be a placebo.

I just completed my Day 10 Level 1. it does seem like a long time since I started on 2/17/13. (skipped 1 day)
Tomorrow, I move on to Level 2. I'm eager to record my Day 30 progress side by side comparison photos.

Good Luck with your workouts. Keep us posted

There was a great deal of profainity being tossed Jillian's way I won't lie! I would say I have a love/hate relationship with her...

Just did day 1 today. Excited to continue and see results. Good Luck to you also.
  • I actually noticed a difference in my performance on day 2. I stopped to rest much less. I have only done day 2 and started it 4 days ago. Today should have been day 3 but I didn't even think about it and hopped in the shower. By the time I realized it I didn't have time to workout and shower again before work. Might do it after work... or maybe AT work... hmmm...
