Hi

Like most of us I have been trying to loss weight my whole life. Problem is a few years ago I set out to lose some of the 100kg I pilled on after leaving high school and I did. It took me five years to lose 35kg. I was so happy I actually lost another 3kg after that and stayed there for a couple of years, however after a few stressful events in life I took it too far gave myself an ED, I have slowly come back from that, but I just cant seem to get back to that happy place of feeling comfortable and not worry so much when it flucuates.

So I start at MFP last year in June before my wedding in November and I did get to my goal weight of 65kg for the best day of my life. however since then I have come and gone between 65-67kg. My husband and I are heading to the USA in August for a month(delayed honeymoon) and I cant wait, but would love to lose another 5-6kg before heading away.

In the last 2 weeks I have upped calories on the advice and research of other MFP members and in the 1st week it was fantastic and I lost 0.5kg, but today im right back where I started.(67.1kg) and really gutted.

Im 5ft 5in, 33yrs and do 1hr -1.5hr of exercise 5-6 days a week. a combination of : xtrainer/bike/rower/skipping/walking and a few body weight exercises every second day.

I love the thought of being able to eat more, but should I still be leaving some kind of deficit?
My other problem is I can get quite obessive over the exercise and don't want to go on holiday feeling like I NEED to do and 1.5hr everyday.

My calories are set to 1360 by MFP, but with the added exercise they are well over 2000. My diet is not perfect, but I do keep within calorie goal and macros etc.

also I drink lots of water, with excercise and I work in busy cafe/pizzeria.

Any advice would be good, just want to lose weight, have a life and feel human.

I am TRULY not trying to make light of your situation, so please don't think that.

But...Is moving around a K or two really an issue? I bounce around 3-4 pounds (I'm an American) every day, it just depends on the day.

    A couple of suggestions:

Drink PLENTY of water. 1 ounce of water for every 2 pounds of body weight per day.
Exercise. Every day, a little bit.
    Drink more water.
    Eat fruits and vegetables.
    Drink more water.
Make breakfast your biggest meal of the day.
    Eat plenty of protein.
    Did I mention...drink more water...

I'm not trying to be flippant...I'm genuine. What can we do to help?

I agree totally fine to go up and down a little. But what im frustrated about is that I can't seem to get the last little bit of weight off. AND i do exactly everything you just said. WATER - lots. BREAKFAST - Huge( only person I know that eats both toast and porriage for breakfast & its the best thing I ever did.

I have no clue of weekday the break down between a pound and"kg" is, really i don't.. But i will tell u what"dan, the road map man" sent me, I'm 30yrs 5ft3 and 168lbs, i stronglift Monday Wednesday Friday and run on Tuesday and Thursday (if I'm not dead from lugging) i eat 1600 calories a day and only exercise 30 minutes a night. Its helped me lose over 20lbs. ..

1600 cals, no more them 30 minutes a night 5 nights a week, for me, i am on my feet 8 hours a day 4 days a week and have a14 month old baby to take care of and a home to clean. Lol.. Its rate i sit down. Lmao.,

Go to the forums and search for the "in place of a road map"
    Use that.

Consider opening your diary if you need more help otherwise it's kind of hard for anyone to know what's going on.

any time you change your workout or calorie intake (or both) you should give it 4-6 weeks for your body to adjust to it and see changes - give it another 4 weeks and if you still arent losing then change it up again.
