New to dieting; wouldnt mind some encouragement

Hi;

I've had this app on my phone for a few months but I keep starting and quitting. I cant seem to find the motivation to stick to a diet and exercise plan for more than a few weeks. Its so hard. I love food. Hate restricting it. I also love being lazy. Its hard to do more than I do already (walk dog, walk around on campus, occasionally hike). I dont have big goals, but I definitely need motivation to get to where I would like to be.

So if any other newbies wanna be "friends" with me, maybe we can help each other.
