I just got a Polar F4 HRM. I am 5'11, 214, 34 years old.
I jogged at 5 mph for 30 mins and walked at 3.6 for 10 mins.
My HRM said I burned 574 ( I know I am supposed to subtract some cals that I would have burnt just for existing)
MFP says 444
the machine said 470 but I can't input height and weight on it)
My average heartrate was 171.
I am apt to go with an average, but I am just wondering if I wasted my money on the HRM since its cals burned are so high???
What do you think? I think they ALL sound likes high estimate!!

I enter in the Cal's burnt from my watch, but I try not to eat them, unless I am doing a really big day (ie 18km) then I eat some of them. I believe my watch as it know how far I have gone and how hard I have worked - keep up the good work0
