Has anybody done Weight Watchers?

I did WW in college and lost about 15 pounds. After gaining most of it back over the past couple of years, I decided to start counting my points again. The only problem is that I could lose 5 pounds counting WW points, but then the weight just stopped coming off. I finally met with a PT to ask him about it, and he told me I wasn't eating enough protein. A few days later I joined this website. I'm supposed to eat 1200 calories a day, and I've been eating REALLY healthy, but I'm still eating more "points" than I'm supposed to in a day. I don't know the results yet because it's only been a few days.
How has everyone's experience been with WW verses following this website's suggestions?

I was on WW for 3 yrs. I had reached a point that all I was doing was maintaining my weight so this past May I quit for good. I Have lost 17 lbs in 7 weeks by eating healthy and keeping track of my calories. I have also cut out all carbs. Good Luck in whatever you decide to do. I also go to the gym 6 days a week. I also have never reached the goal weight that WW had set for me. Keep in touch and let me know how u are doing.0

I did weight watchers and found that I prefer just tracking my calories for free! I was eating more calories on weight watchers than I do now and am also losing more weight now. Try breaking your points down to see how many calories you end up with. I did that a few times and found that my points allowance was way more calories than I thought would help me lose weight (especially compared to the suggestions on this site) I did weight watchers mainly for the support aspect, but I can find that here also. I think it is a good program and if you need something like that go for it, but this has been a great place to lose weight also!0

I did WW for about three years and was successful at losing 33 pounds but a few months back, the weight just stopped coming off. I was spending $44 a month for the meetings but was only maintaining my weight. Frustrating! So my trainer told me that I needed to switch things up and try a different program. I stumbled onto this website while looking for a free online calorie counter and have been here ever since. I've lost 10 pounds since I've started and I like the fact that it's free, lol. No more weigh-ins and having to count points. I find that counting calories here is a lot easier, especially since they have a lot of foods loaded, I never have trouble finding certain foods. Good luck!0

Thanks everyone for your responses! I will see how this goes for a few weeks. It sounds like some of you also plateaued on WW and switching to myfitnesspal really helped kickstart your weight loss again. I really enjoy being able to just post my meals and see all the nutrition!

I did WW and it helped me loose 40 pounds and I have been able to maintain the loss but I would like to loose another 20 pounds. I thought of going back to WW but foud this website and I love it. It is so user freindly and it really helps me realize what I am eating and how much I exercise. I am sure you will loose the weight no matter what you do.
