Don't you just hate it? They can't detect your sarcasm, take you too seriously, don't take you seriously enough, you should've put a smilie but didn't and now they think you're yelling at them....

    And this is why I gave up on chatting on the internet a long time ago, with the exception of Facebook where I only chat with people who know me well.

    I mad at myself for giving in to the MFP forums. I never intended to start posting here, just meant to use the tools. Then I thought that perhaps a community with a single common goal would be a bit friendlier and less divisive. Oh how wrong I was...

    It happens and sometimes I just don't even try to fix what I said so it can be better undestood. I often use wordings that can be taken the wrong way and it's not to offend but because I often don't realize that it's going to be taken the wrong way, it's just misunderstood as negativity.

    I have just learned to watch what I say a little more and to leave an explaination if I think it could be taken the wrong way.

    Yeah it happens but for the most part what can you do? I have written well and written badly and still depending on who you are sending it to it can be misinterpeted. Just keep smiling.... that makes them even more upset. LOL:bigsmile:

    Sarcasm is NOT communication, so they're all non-issues, just as long as one maintains a light-headed regard and approach, where appropriate.

    So true. I've participated in forums long enough now that I've learned how to surf these waters and have fun doing it. People are people. I don't try to change them.
