I walked my huge dogs starting at the front door.....
Now this may not seem like a big deal.
But I live at the top of a very steep hill and the only way to go is down.
Which is fine. But the end of the walk is a VERY long and VERY big UP!!!

Previously I have always taken the dogs in the car down to the bottom of the hill and walked them along the canal because it's flat.

Well today, for the first time, I walked them down the hill to the canal. Walked our walk. Then walked them back up again.

What I want to know is why do they pull me down the hill but not back up.... :)

  • I LOVE the challenge you gave yourself!!! WTG!!!! :drinker: TO get them to pull you up the hill you have to say "GIDDY UP"! DUH! LOL
  • cause they r excited, what u need is a pair of roller boots u can carry them the entire way be like a weight then stick them on before the hill an mushhhhh!!

Roller boots? With my two monsters?

I'd end up 20 miles away.

We used to have our two German Shepherds pull our sledge around in the winter...

Sounds like you're making good progress, congrats!

If you were one of the dogs, would you want to pull you up the hill? Great NSV!!!! Keep it up.
