how did I ever let her talk me into sharing that pastry with her at Starbucks. I'll NEVER run that all off today.

Your first mistake was letting her take you to Starbucks. Next time, insist that you drive.

I know what you mean. It's like I know my son will only eat the gigantic rice krispy treat there, but I let him order something else knowing the little saboteur is going to hate it and make me eat it and buy a rice krispy treat anyway.

The REAL question here, is do all those carbs fit your 4 year old's macros. Because if not, sounds like YOU are the saboteur!.

Damn 4 year old start ridiculing her and calling her a fatty fatty two by for couldn't get through the bathroom door that will help motivate her to stay away from starbucks again. Laugh and taunt at her if she gets hungry and tell her how disgusting her baby fat looks.

    Thats good parenting there!

Wait, what? We're supposed to feed our kids? Huh, maybe that's what mine are constantly complaining about. It would also explain why the dog's bowl gets empty so fast.

Kids you got to love them but at a distance..... especially when it comes to starbucks or any place which sells stuff like that.... you could do what my parents did give me something that looked like a doughnut.... and turned out to be sushi....I was tramatized... did not want doughnuts or sushi for years after...

Yup. My -turns four this week- boy wanted to go to Mcdonald's coz it's cold and wet. I stupidly gave him a choice of McD or Ikea...at least at Ikea I get a WALK.....

THIS is why I don't have kids. Evil saboteurs. I sabotage myself just fine, I don't need pint-sized help.

You brought your 4-year-old to Starbucks? Are you trying to raise a hipster?

we just gave ours yogurt covered raisins and daddy told him it was chocolate... "white chocolate". ate em up. yeah, chocolate's big in our house. also "bacon meat"=carne asada, & etc. as for the OP i take my kid for a treat almost daily, ice cream, donut, whatnot, i just eat my snack bar before we go. its one of the 100 cal ones and it's sweet so that works for me. Or put her up for adoption, still an option.

My 5 yr old son tried to sabotage me on HIS birthday. Lil devil wanted chocolate cake knowing darn well mom was on a diet. I threatened to take away Christmas if he tried to share with me.

My son's party is tomorrow and I've pre-logged everything except the cake - which I will try to be strong and say no to. Rather have a couple of vodkas for quarter the calories thanks!
