Just wanted to say thanks- one week binge free for me.

Okay, so I know that relative to a lot of people's impressive weight loss, this isn't much, but I'm really proud of myself. I have just gone one full week without binging. It may be sad to admit, but it's been MONTHS since I've done that. I've eaten over my MFP goals every day, but it's primarily been out of hunger, not out of mindless stress eating, and when I've had the urge I've fought back. This is one small step towards leading a much healthier lifestyle, and yeah, it's only a week, but I feel capable of combating it now. I feel in control, and I've been able to walk away on several different tempting occasions. I have goals and long-term vision, and a lot of that has come from just lurking on the boards and seeing how great and dedicated people are here.

My goal for the next week is to be maximum 100 calories over my goal every day, and I'm excited to try it. I'm certainly not going to allow myself to starve to the point where I trigger a real binge, but I think I'm ready for a new step. Just wanted to say thanks, MFP. You guys are champions! Hopefully I'll someday have the success that many of you have enjoyed.
