  • I just read an article the other day about drinking water. How much, when, etc. One suggestion was to drink at least 2 cups of water first thing in the morning on a mostly empty stomach to cleanse the colon. I've been doing that off and on for the last couple of weeks and have seen results nearly every time. Not sure if that qualifies for what you're looking for though.

don't do. Your body will naturally clean your colon if you eat healthy foods and a high fibre diet. Ground flax seed is excellent at this, as it contains both soluble and insoluble. A lot of the colon cleanses are gymics. Also for good colon and digest health try probiotics. 5 to 25 billion a day these can come from foods or supplements. Warning most people get sick the first couple of days on supplements.

Caffeine and celery should do it.

I have other suggestions but you'll have to PM me.

Last time I suggested them on a public forum I got a strike.

Are you currently lacking in a digestive tract? No kidney? No liver?

If you have all of those things (and more, not listed), your body is already cleansing itself. Yay for bodies being awesome!!

Colon cleanses are unnecessary. Save your money, just eat healthy, drink lot's of water and exercise.

I have done a colon cleanse 3 times in my life, all 3 were prepping for a colonoscopy. If it isnt for a medical procedure I suggest you dont do it.

Prune juice (~$3) will expel poop. Your liver ($0) will expel toxins.

If you've got insurance, schedule a colonoscopy - "cleansed" and you get your pipes checked while you're at it. And a nice nap.

  • I started drinking a delicious hot tea. Look for it in your local grocery. For $3.59 a box 'Bigelow Lemon Ginger herb plus Probiotics' It is delicious and i drink hot tea daily and this has certainly helped me stay... um, regular.

    ^^^^ this

your colon keeps itself clean. However would the human race have survived prior to the invention of the colon cleanse, if it couldn't?

To keep your bowels moving right, eat a healthy diet generally, including fibre and plenty of water. It'll keep itself clean.
