Crisps?

When I'm in school, for break I always have crisps and it's only because if I don't have them, by fourth lesson my stomach is rumbling, even though I'm not hungry. So is it okay to eat them and everything else is just healthy? I exercise too. Basically I'm asking will it make much difference to losing weight?

If they fit your calories you should be fine. Can you bring any other snacks from home to tide you over? If you find the crisps become an issue you might want to try other snacks. I also find that drinking water can help the afternoon rumblings.0

How about a piece of fruit instead? Way more healthy, probably less calories and will keep you feeling full a lot longer.0

Yes, we must all speak American so they can understand. Speak slowly and clearly and use a lot of emoticons.0 -

You're British.... and you're in school at 22?
Does not compute.0 -
Clearly I'm not 22 if I'm in school, and my age doesn't really have nothing to do with what I asked? so? I never knew a british girl in school couldn't ask a question lol.0

I was referring to the American.....I know in Britain "Crisps" are your version of our "chips" and YOUR "chips" are our version of "French fries"............I was simply trying to clear it up. That's all.0

Ok your profile says you're 22.
This site says you have to be 18 to use it.
I suspect you've lied about your age in order to create a profile. Your "in your face" manner certainly suggests that you might be a teenager rather than in your twenties.
That is all.0 -
As long as you are within your calories for the day, you won't gain weight (although you might retain water if there is a lot of sodium in the bag).0

Are Brits not allowed higher education? My daughter was still completing a PhD at 30 and would say she was in school!0 -
Thankyou! and Melaine, like Mokey said some people actually do refer to school as university, ect.
But yeah I lied about my age? I don't see how that's such a big deal considering it happens every day, and I think it's stupid that you have to be a certain age to just track your meals lol? But again that has nothing to do with the question and at the end of the day my age is personal.
& Okay Luvmyboxerboy, no problem haha.0 -
Crisps are My weekness! I have them most days, try to go for more healthy ones like snakajacks or boots shapers ones. But sometimes only the real thing will do. I just make sure i stay within My calorie target.0

Brits do go to third level education, but they would never refer to it as school. They'd say college, Uni, maybe classes, studies, but "school" is widely accepted as the education received in establishments geared for young people up to about 18 years of age, before they go on to third level education. "Break" is something that these "schools" have In between classes, you wouldn't refer to a break when talking about lectures in a third level course.
Alysxox, you can have crisps if they fit in your eating plan. There's no good foods or bad foods, and everyone's body is different. I find that a mini baby bel mid morning satisfies me more than a carb- based snack, but it is down to each individual to experiment and see what works for them.0 -
Thankyou everyone :-)0
