I did MFP 18 months ago and lost 22pounds over a period of 6 months - it worked so well for me! Then I went travelling and everything came completly undone - I gained all of that back plus some so I'm back on the wagon (mostly) but this time I am REALLY struggling! I am losing maybe 100g a week IF that and I am sticking to my calorie goals. I have been logging on my phone and for some reason its not showing up here so cant show a diary but for the most part my dairy looks something like this
a banana berry smoothie for breakfast (~200cal), sushi for lunch, fruit/granola bar/cheese and crackers (all around 120cal) for a snack, and home made fish and chips or mushroom omelette for dinner. If I work out I throw in a protien shake and a few extra snacks. I have been going to the gym and/or running 3 times a week for an hour at a time and nothing is shifting and I am going crazy! I have upped my cals a bit from 1200 to 1370 and have had my thyroid and hormone levels checked!
Wondering if I need to up my cals a bit more but this stresses me out.. last time i did it all at just over 1200. Im 5ft 2in and currently 70kg (154lb).. my job is sedentary - Please help!

Are you accurately tracking everything and measuring/weighing everything?0
-
Yep - EVERYTHING! Im doing the exact same as I did last time.. arghh! haha0

Hmm0

How long have you been back? You may not have been logging long enough to see results. Also have you been tracking your inches? There may be progress on that front before you see results on the scale.0

Nods at jess she has a point there0
-
to add to the rest of the comments are you tracking your sodium and drinking lots of water ?0
-
Yes drinking lots of water - not tracking sodium but eating reasonably clean! I have lost a few cm'n but been at this for 3 months now!0

Seriously, throw your scales out.
Concentrate on a healthy, balanced calorie controlled diet and maintaining a regular exercise regime. By all means log everything in and burned.
The weight loss will be a natural welcome by-product but the real benefit comes from increase in health, sense of wellbeing and happiness.
kind regards,
