can't gain with a deficit, so what's happening?

This feels like a stupid question but here goes:
I recently had a stomach bug so didn't eat much for maybe 5 days (if you want to check diary, from Feb 10). About 1200 cals/day instead of my usual 1800. I lost over a kilo (2.2 pounds) down to 67.3kg (148 pounds). I thought this was a nice plus to being sick!
But since I started eating normally again I've put that weight back on and it seems to be staying put. If Im still eating at a deficit I shouldn't gain weight so what is happening? Am I just underestimating my calories? Is my body trying to get back to my weight pre being sick?
I know it's not a lot of weight but as I don't have lots to lose its happening very slowly.

You were probably dehydrated, and now you aren't. Don't get discouraged.0

Lower carbs and water will get absorbed by the cells (glycogen/water) when you re introduce them back to regular eating. Kinda like when you work out again after a long layoff.

Yeah a few weeks ago I was sick and was only able to choke down a few calories. I lost 6 lbs in 3 days. Afterward I gained it all back over the next 3 days. I'm sure it was not fat/muscle that was lost in the first place, but instead water that was lost and then replaced.0

Thanks everyone. Shame! I was so excited. Good to have it explained.
