How to exercise without aggravating ankle injury?

I rolled my ankle about a week ago on the edge of a path. I have strapped it for work and tried to exercise around it but it is stopping me from doing quite a bit of stuff and my knee is feeling the strain. I don't want to extend healing time by being careless. Any exercise suggestions?

    keep off it til it`s fully healed..I played basketball in high school and messed up my ankles pretty bad and now dont have full range of motion in my left because of not staying off it. you dont want that.
