exercise then eat question

Does anyone know if it's better to eat after you exercise? I'm thinking that perhaps it is,
that way your insides are still fighting and burning fat and calories.
Does anyone know for sure? Thanks

  • Depends what kind of exercise you're doong and whay your goals are.

If you're doing resistence training and teying to build.muscle, then absolutely you want to eat sometuing with protein AND carbs (to refill glycogen stores) and provide your bodynwith the enerfy and fuel it needs to repair muscle.

If you're trying to lose weight, its still good to have some protein but skip the carbs. You're body will use the food for fuel when you want it to use your adipose tissue (fat).

Yes, especially with resistance training, it's good to have a healthy, wholesome post workout snack.
I like making myself super smoothies, with things like frozen berries and bananas, milk (of choice - I use almond), ground flax seeds and ground oats, greek yogurt and whey protein powder.

Yeah definitely! I eat right after I workout. My body is screaming for nutrition when I'm exhausted. And I always eat an Hour before I workout as well.
