Is this a good way?

Hellooo...

I need advice...

4 times a week PUMP training in my gym (60min) => sth like this http://www.beachbody.com/product/fitness_programs/les-mills-pump-workout.do

1x after PUMP - HITT (2min walking + 1min running) = 21min

1x cardio 60min

5x times a week exercising...170cm / 72kg / 24years / 1800kcal...carb cycling ( 110/60/60/60/0/0/90g Carbs)
I work a desk job...

What should I choose? Lightly active or sedentary? Is this good way to loose weight?

Thank you so much!

Are you talking about MFP settings or your TDEE? Big difference.

Is WHAT a good way to lose weight?

What are you currently doing? What are you considering doing? How long have you been doing it? What are your results? What is your weight and height?

I don't think you should be carb cycling and training like you are. Eat small meals, frequently and include protein preferably within half hour of body pump.

Protein shakes are the quickest option here.

Don't worry about weight for a while. Measure yourself instead. You will lose inches as you get stronger.

To mix up the cardio try spin before pump. Maximum burn. It's great

    I drink whey after PUMP...and my proteins are about 190g a day... + carbs (110,90,60 or 0g) + good fat = 1800cal

    I eat 5x a day + whey

I don't count green vegetables as carbs..only calories...

How long have you been weight training ? Muscles swell at first and retain water.

Some people choose sedentary to give their goals and believe in exercising on top. Others believe in eating back the calories burned, ie choosing moderate option.

You are going to have to find out what works for you. Listen to your body. If its hungry, feed it.

If its just your mind wanting more that's when will power and commitment come in

Do you weigh and measure your food? Everything you eat?

I would say it's most likely water weigh for muscle repair. Still, check out these links:

Looks like you have been very successful in the weight loss up to this point, and you have done your homework on nutrition.
Whenever you start a weight training program, your muscles can swell with fluid for several days, so that is probably the cause of the gain on the scale.
I'm no expert on the workout, but if it is working for you and you have enough energy to keep them up, then just keep going. You should start losing, just give it a bit more time. If you continue to gain, then you might look at lowering the cals a bit.

    yes...everything!
  • Keep in mind too that muscle will always weigh more than fat..so gaining while you're doing this kind of training isn't necessarily bad, as its most likely muscle. When I was in the military I had a hard time making weight not because I was fat, but because I was/am packed with muscle than fat lol.

The office job is sedentary so I would go with sedentary then add all the exercise you do and eat back most of the calories.

Averaging over the week as in "in place of a road map" works for some people but I prefer the standard way.
It encourages me to exercise more and stops me overeating on my really lazy days.
    Your exercise routine is great.

I can't see your diary so I can't help on the food. Try watching your sodium. Keep it as low as you can. - Just a guess
