HOW TO LINK A SPREADSHEET?

Hi,
We started a MFP weightloss challenge group and we are trying figure out the BEST way to put together and link a spreadsheet to our MFP group.

Can you give me any advice, tips, instructions, anything Please?

Is google.docs the BEST way?

Or is there a BETTER way?

If google.docs is the best way can you give me the basic on how to set it up?

Does everyone enter their own info?
Do they need to have a gmail account?
How do you protect it from outsider’s, people who are not in the group or challenge, changing the info?

Thank You,
Mr. C

I have been the user of one, have never created one. I believe everyone needs a gmail account and the creator somehow gives access to the gmail accounts that he wants thus blocking it from random other gmail users. If anone knows different please correct me I may be totally off base. Any user given access has free reign over the spreadsheet, you cannot lock it down just to his or her row of info. But whats neat is that you can leave discussion messages (comments) on the excel cells that people can read and respond back too.

Oops.... thought you posted this in our mfp group..lol
