ADVICE NEEDED: Low Carb VS. Calorie Counting

I am strongly considering a low carb diet for the next 2 weeks just to shock my body a little and change it up and then back to my calorie counting. Any suggestions? Is this a bad idea or should I go with it??

I kind of do both. I have a certain amount of carbs and protein I eat during each meal and snack. I usually have extra calories, so I'll eat something that doesn't have as many carbs to get to my recommended calorie intake. Also, I don't count the carbs in green veggies, so salads are a good way to "fill up" and feel like you've eaten a lot.

That's a good idea. I guess I'm just a little concerned about all the fat we consume when doing low carb. I guess I'll just have to "tweak" it here and there to make sure that I am staying within my macros.0
