what can I take to boost my energy level enough to get me up exercising. I was doing it obsessively, like spent my whole day focusing on it, but took a month off (big mistake) and now I can't seem to get back on the wagon. I am eating enough, and eating protien. Looking for something I can take to get me revved up enough to get up an do a work out. I know that with exercise comes energy so looking for something to start me off on. coffee doesn't seem to do it because the caffeine rush is long gone after 30 years of drinking it. And the energy drinks taste like mule piss. (not that I know). Maybe what is the best tasting caffeine bullets taste like?

  • Hello! I am in the same boat as you. I have recently gotten back into working out myself and after a hard day at work dont have any motivation to work out. I have a great boyfriend who keeps me on track though and gives me encouraging words to get through the workout. But I also, as cheesy as it sounds, cut out motivational posters and words and taped them around my house. They help remind me why I am doing this and I get motivated to work out!. Hope this helps! Feel free to send me a friend request! :)

Have you tried mioenergy water enhancer? I like the black cherry you just add it to your water. When I get my mid afternoon slump I have a bottle of water with that added and I am ready to get up and go

Its not something that can happen overnight. just force yourself to exercise even if for only a few minutes. something to get the blood pumping. sooner rather than later, you will feel more energy!!

I don't like the idea of energy drinks. Caffeine and all sorts of chemical colors to pump you up and pump you full of junk. I juice instead. I added a green juice recipe into my daily regular eats and it gives me a straight shot of energy not to mention all the nutrients I need. Maybe look into something like that.
  • Have you considered a "sunrise simulator" style alarm clock rather than one that wakes you up with noise? They wake you up more naturally, and for me anyway they leave me feeling much less groggy in the mornings, more able to get started with my day.

Thanks everyone for the ideas. I live in the country so no curtains on some windows. When the sun comes up It wakes me up, sometimes too early for me.

I don't know if you like coffee or not but a big cup of regular coffee is best for me in the mornings. And in the winter it helps too sometimes to take a Vitamin D pill sometimes that will make a huge difference what kinda energy you have. Sometimes raw fruits early in the day helps if I am over tired.
