I tend to bake my chicken at 200C, which is almost 400F and read that the extra virgin coconut oil has a smoke point of 350, but the non virgin, refined kind has a higher smoke point. I am guessing I would need to use the refined to bake my meat in ?
Also, what about frying? Surely if the heat point is that, then frying in extra virgin would get a bit smoky as well ?
