I know that I shoul probably know that answer to this question but I really dont.
They have my calorie goal, food, exercise and then net. I understand that the net is the amount of calories that you consumed minus the amount of calories that you burned through exercise but shoul that number be a positive number or a negative number.
I have been on this site for just over a couple of weeks and that still confuses me..... I tried looking it up and was still confuse because some things that I read said it should be positive and others said it should be negative.... I think the part that is confusing to me is the more things I read people are saying the more you eat the more you loss, which I totally dont understand....
Could somebody please help me out.... Also if anybody would like to add me as a friend that would be great.

The net should absolutely be in the positive at the end of the day! That's how many calories your body has left at the end of the day after exercise so if it's negative then that's not healthy. Use a calculator online to find out your bmr and tdee and eat between those0

Trying to get it as close to 0 as possible would be a good goal, this means you are at or near the caloric deficit that you set when you signed up. Some on MFP choose not to eat their exercise calories back, some do, I would recommend not going below 1200 calories for extended lengths of time.0

Your net should equal your goal. What should equal zero, on average, is the calories remaining.0 -
