haha....guys....great feeling today....
NOTE: THIS POST INCLUDES HORRIBLE FOOD FOR YOU. IF YOU HAVE A HARD TIME READING ABOUT FOOD, THIS IS NOT A POST FOR THE WEAK!!!!!!
So, yesterday- I was in Yongsan (Seoul Korea). OF course I cheated. It was my first opportunity to get actualy chinese food again. (We don't have it here where I'm stationed, its pretty easy to avoid fast food on post because all we have is, pizza, burger king, sandwhich shoppe and baskin robins....or so I thought) haha....long story short- I ate 3 entree' meal at Manchu wok. I ate lomein noodles, sesame chicken, oriental grilled chicken, and orange chicken......then I polished that meal off with a scoop of chocolate chip cookie dough andddddd a scoop of rocky road.......I finished that....and I felt like I had ate nothing....GREAT FEELING.....so today- I'm in the clinic because we have a few colonals down because were about to be inspected this week. Our NCOIC order's pizza, and I polish 2 pieces of cheese.....I havn't ate fast food in like 3 months....lemme tell you- It was GREAT! Not the taste, but the fact that I feel great. I don't feel like I cheated at all today. I came out decent on my macro's. I was over yesterday 200 cals, and today 71....but overall I'm under for the week. Ultimately today, I HAD THE GREATEST LIFTING SESSION....(i'll thank the pizza) on that one.
But yeah, I couldn't be feeling better going into Monday's weigh in. I better see 198, or else...... Just had to share.....food in moderation is okay!!!!! It shocks the hell outa your body!!!!!

We all do it once in awhile. what I've found after 6 months of eating very healthy is that when I go on such a bender I tend to feel bloated the next day or the day after. I have to constantly remind myself WHY I am doing this . . . I don't want to have a heart attack at 56 like my dad did -- which is only 6 years away. I hope you hit the weight on Monday and I hope you get back on the horse. This is not a diet, it's a lifestyle. . .0

Last time I cheated like that was my birthday and I was soooooooo sick the next two days. My body was not used to all the bad foods and rebelled. We all deserve a treat every now and again and glad you made it through yours much better than I did! Congrats on your success so far and THANK YOU for serving our country!!!!!!0

MMMM that all sounds so yummy!!! I find that if I am maintaining and not losing that if I go on a binge for a meal that it will kick my body back into losing mode, but then I feel like total crap after eating it both mentally and physically, which is a good thing or I'd do it too often,lol.0

I totally agree! It does shock the heck out of your body! I find that with Mexican Food in the States! I don't think you fell off the wagon, you're shaking it up for you body. If you keep it guessing, it's harder for it to plateau. Yo-Yo your calories... you're doing great. Complete deprivation is not wise. I think you'll do great on this weigh in!
I used to live in Afghanistan. I worked with a humanitarian organization as a nurse, not with the military. We would go to the base occasionally and see foods from home... AND Burger King and PIzza Hut. I couldn't believe it! In the middle of Kandahar Province, American Fast Food. Smuckers Jelly. Mustard. And DR PEPPER!!! It was ... beautiful. hahahaha. We only got to go once every 4 months or so. I lived there 2 1/2 years. When you do leave your normal routine and get "out" and see food you LOVE... oh, a GREAT feeling. Yeah, I know that well.
Just want to give a word of thanks for serving me, for giving your time, parts of your life to protect my family and me.
Bless you soldier Kmill217!
