Hey guys
so i have been using fitnesspal on the regular for the past several weeks but now i have 2 weeks until my exams and school work and stress are equally piling up. I dont know about any of you but i get really bad sugar cravings, especially when im staying up til all hours of the night. ahhhh!!! Im very active though. i workout 5 -6 days a week, so i would like some accountability partners over the next 2 weeks to help motivate me to stay off the sweets and stick to the good food!!
anyone willing?
thanks guys

What kinds of sweets? If it's chocolate, I may not be able to help you. If you just crave sugar, why not get some sweet fruits like blueberries or grapes? If it must be candy, could you switch to hard candies that you can suck on or some gum?0

I'm a huge chocoholic :S but I try to make wiser chocolate decisions lol I like the low fat chocolate pudding cups, not too many calories but I find it helps the craving. I also like to have the odd hot chocolate, just enough to get rid of the craving without wolfing down a chocolate bar, brownie etc. I also like the jello 5 cal cups too, if I am craving somethin sweet, or special k strawberry bar, there are two bars in the pack I find one will kill my craving. Hope that helps. I'm a believer in better decisions rather than completely cutting something from my diet, because in the long run if I don't have the odd treat I'm going to give up.0

I need help with this too! I do great with the exercise part but not as good with staying on track with eating, esp when I am stressed out. I am a full time student, work part time and have two kids and it is very hard for me not to stress eat. I just try not to have sweets in the house. Honestly sometimes I just can't control myself if there are certain things around so I just make sure not to have them around. I can stay away from fried food and salty stuff but the sweets are just so hard for me to stay away from!0

I am serious stress eater too! It doesn't matter what it is. I could stress eat on fries, brownies, or even fruit. I just overeat majorly. But not anymore. for the last three weeks I've been doing everything I can to take the emotion out of my eating. The first thing I do when I wake up is log my entire day of eating. It's another way to make myself accountable. I plan it and when it is time to eat, I look up what I planned for myself. It's another trick to take the emotions out of it. Doing it this way doesn't make it easy, but it does make it EASIER. life happens...Sometimes I do have to make necessary changes (sometimes even daily)! But when I log on to see what I planned, I try really hard to make both nutritionally and caloric equal changes. I just do the best I can to stick as close to my unemotional plan as possible even if the changes are necessary and unavoidable. I plan treats so that I am not feeling like I can never have the things I really enjoy.0
