In 5 weeks you'd weigh....

inches would be a lot harder for it to measure though...even the number it gives you is just a calculation0

WOW!!!! I am so surprised that so many people find it so annoying. I think of it as a huge motivation...it keeps me from eating whatever I want.0

Can I get it in writing, MFP?
It's not my favorite feature since I find it wildly inaccurate, but it's easy enough to ignore.0 -
I agree totally! Everyday it's a different amount of what I would weigh! And yet I have only lost 3 pounds in over 6 weeks. Ugh!! It is depressing. I don't know why I even keep doing this diary!0

mine actually broke and always says 00.0 pounds. You're drunk, MFP, go home.0

NO DOUBT! LOL -i'm so over being lied to!!!!!!!!0

It is a huge liar!0

I like it. I know it changes a little every day based on what you do/eat, but it's a great motivator to keep up the good work! Even if it isn't always right, it's often pretty close so far! I love seeing a lower # for a goal for the next 5ish weeks!0

I used to get excited when I saw the five week prediction. Now I think it's just cruel.0

I feel motivated, I really want to think that is true and that in 5 weeks I will wieght what it says. LOL
In the other hand would love it more if it would say how much I will weight the next week.0 -
I love that message! I consider it one of the most motivating factors of the whole application. When I look at it, first I think, "Guh, that's still so high." But then I think, "That's less than today! Slow and steady wins the race!" It gives me hope.
But now that you've pointed it out, I realize it hasn't been right. But I still love it.
I agree! Totally!0 -
I too am one of the ones who like it. It's encouraging to know if I stay the course of keeping my calories in check and my exercise going that I WILL continue to make progress. And when I eat over my calorie intake by what seems "just a little bit", it reminds me that if I keep that up, then I will be right back where I started. So I find it not only motivating, but a good way to keep me in check and reminded of how little each day it took to get me to where I started at on this journey.
Yes! Exactly!!!0 -
I like it. It has actually been pretty accurate for me. I write them down on my calendar every once in a while just to see how right or wrong it was and inevitably it's close,
This has been my experience, too, so I like it. And on the days when I eat too much, that gets my attention!0 -
You are certainly not alone. I feel like it sets me up for failure. I get so excited when I see I could actually be down 15lbs in 6 weeks. I am losing much slower than this. 29 lbs in 4 months.0

On Saturday I had a burger with fries for lunch and cheesecake right after. MFP said that if every day were like Saturday, I would weigh 139 lbs in 5 weeks (I weigh 148 now......ummmmm .....)0

I updated myfitnesspal and now idk how to get to where it says "in 5 weeks you'd weight ?? Kilograms"
