I started MFP in Oct after the Car show season was over. My husband and familys past time in the summer is to show our classic cars at car shows. To same money I always fix our lunch to take but that has always been , sandwiches ,chips, little debbie cakes and soda. Now that I have lost almost 30 pounds I want to take more healthy lunches for us. I would love some ideas that we can take in a cooler or sack (hot summer days)that is good and healthy (I am the only one cutting down) any ideas would be just great.

I also pack lunches in the summer. We go on weekend/day trips all the time and I pack up a iced cooler full of bottled water, greek yogurt, sliced turkey, (sometimes all natural peanut butter), cheese, wheat bread, and fruit (bananas, blueberries, apples, strawberries, melons...just about anything). You can also slice up fresh veggies and bag them up; sliced cucumbers, califlower, carrots, broccoli...)
Its easier than you think ! :)
    Can't wait for summer!!!
