Okay this is my first ever post on the message boards so please bear with me Im 5'8 120 lbs (Last time I checked) And just got over a bad week of bad eating, so this week I'm trying my best to stick to the healthy and just wanted to know if this was a reasonable day:
Breakfast:
Apple Sauce (Strawberry flavored)
1 Tbsp. Hemp Hearts
(I'm not a big breakfast eater, but usually have a large dinner)
Snack:
Granny Smith Apple
Lunch:
Whole wheat turkey sub (with 2 tomatoes, lettuce and light mayo)
Cherry Sucker (Jolly rancher) >I find it hard to resist<
Snack:
Carrot-raw medium/large
Dinner:
2 bowls of chili with VERY lean beef, and kidney beans.
Exercise: 30 day shred Jillian Michael's (Love her shred, been doing it for almost 3 months!)
Is this okay? Should I eat more or less? I want to level out from my bad week, and am scared to step on the scale!

That doesn't sound like a lot of food. Have you tried putting the food into your diary and seeing if it fits with your goals for calories? Doesn't seem like any of the food is bad, but with the 30 day shred, you need to be fueling your workouts. Your ticker shows that you have lost 43 pounds and are near goal. You seem like you should have a pretty good handle on this by now. Be sure you start increasing your calories every few weeks as you transition to maintenance (many call it "reverse dieting").0

Okay, thank you very much for the advise! It doesn't seem like a lot does it.. oh dear, I'll be sure to slowly work my way up to a healthy calorie limit. Yes, I guess I have quite a handle on things, but even people like me need some motivational words from other once in a while Also, you said fueling my work outs, do you mean having a meal before/after I exercise, I've just started to get into the fitness side of things, so I wasn't completely sure if I needed to be eating prior to a workout or not.0

I'm at 18.3 right now, and am trying to eat healthy and maintain my weight if possible. I am interested in the modeling industry and know how harsh that can be, so toning up would be my main goal right now.0

Fuel your workouts by eating enough throughout the day. If you workout, then you should be eating back your exercise calories. If you want to "tone" you need to start lifting heavy weights. You'll be surprised at the amount of food you should be eating, but under eating is not going to be sustainable, and you may end up suppressing your metabolism if you continue to do it for very long periods of time.0
