I'm a little underweight at 120, 5'8. I've done the 30 day shred completely (Still been doing level 3 for fun for half a month extra) and still have side fat, (more or less on the side of my back, under my bra, really) I don't really want to lose any more weight, and it's always been my biggest concern when it comes to toning up, and I just cant get rid of it! Any advice? Thank you!!

Eat ENOUGH calories, no more deficits, and pick up weights, the heavier the better. And ease back on cardio 30ds is cardio BTW.
Check out new Rules of lifting for Women or Stronglifts 5X5.
Sounds like your problem is body composition and NOT weight. Calorie deficits are unlikely to give you what you want because unless you are telling your body (by lifting weights) that muscles are important, they are just going to sacrifice them.
And important points to remember, lifting weights WILL NOT bulk females up, and even if it can make you more muscular than you want, it can't do so magically overnight, so there is alot of weight lifting you can do before you get there.

In my own experience, 12 weeks of weight training and you will see a major difference. Everyone's different. Interval training (cardio) can also help. Some of what you're seeing is simply genetics of fat storage. Everyone stores it differently. Good luck!0

you need weight training. Forget the cardio. Read the new rules of lifting for women. Check out www.bodybuilding.com and you can learn how do ANY weighted exercise available.
Weight training tones. Cardio will get you "skinny fat" which I think is what you're describing.0 -

You sound angry.
Sorry, did not mean to sound angry.
Just shooting a quick concise response between patients. Not my intent to sound angry0 -
Thank you for that information, really it helps so much! The only thing I am worried about is that I am a little under aged for weight lifting, and have been told (My moms a regular at the gym) that it could effect my growth if I use to heavy of weights, what do you think would be the 'best course of action'. Much appreciated!0

As an 18 year old, I would say you are not too young to lift weights. As long as you do the proper research for form then weights are beneficial. As far as weight lifting stunting growth, that is something of a ridiculous myth. That being said, if you are under 18, this is not the proper site for you and you should seek advice from a licensed medical professional. Random people at the gym are often not the right people for advice for children or adults though.0
